Manufacturing Standards and Materials

• Manufacture according to European Standard EN12285-1
• Double wall in carbon steel S235JR (or higher) according to European Standard EN10025 with vacuum interstitial chamber*
• MRC-type dished heads in carbon steel S235JR (or higher) according to European Standard UNI EN 10025-2
• Grade SA 2½” steel shot blast media according to ISO 8501-1
• Welds:
  • by submerged arc machine (S.A.W.) where possible
  • by semi-automatic machine (M.I.G./M.A.G.) at other locations

 

Standard Equipment

• Manhole with lid and respective pickings
• Probe rod guide tube
• Graduated probe rod:
  • in anodized aluminum (Diesel / Gasoline)
  • in stainless steel (AdBlue®)
• Leak detection kit
• Vacuum Gauge
• Lifting eyes

 

Surface Protection

• Grade SA 2½” steel shot blasting
• Surfaces and internal welds in natural condition, cleaned and properly dried
• 2 components Endoprene® painting with dielectric resistance exceeding 6000 V. (proven in the factory)

 

Inspection and Testing

• Hydraulic pressure test:
  • Body (0,75 bar)
  • Interstitial chamber (0,1 bar)
• Vacuum test:
  • Interstitial chamber (-0,35 bar)
• Dimensional inspection
• Control of paint thickness
• Examination and visual testing of welds

 

Optional Equipment

• Bottom valve(s)
• Leak detection system according to European Standard EN13160
• * Interstitial chamber gel kit with alarm system
• Inner painting suitable for the liquid fuel to be contained:
  • Diesel / Gasoline / AdBlue®.
