Manufacturing Standards and Materials
- Double wall in carbon steel S235JR (or higher) according to European Standard EN10025 with vacuum interstitial chamber*
- MRC-type dished heads in carbon steel S235JR (or higher) according to European Standard UNI EN 10025-2
- Grade SA 2½” steel shot blast media according to ISO 8501-1
- Welds:
- by submerged arc machine (S.A.W.) where possible
- by semi-automatic machine (M.I.G./M.A.G.) at other locations

Surface Protection
- Grade SA 2½” steel shot blasting
- Surfaces and internal welds in natural condition, cleaned and properly dried
- Painting of anticorrosion primer [> 40μm]
- Painting of 2-component polyurethane in white color [> 50μm] or others (to be defined)
Inspection and Testing
- Hydraulic pressure test:
- Body (0,75 bar)
- Interstitial chamber (0,1 bar)
- Vacuum test:
- Interstitial chamber (-0,35 bar)
- Dimensional inspection
- Control of paint thickness
- Examination and visual testing of welds
