Manufacturing Standards and Materials
- Heads:
- Internal MRC-type dished-heads in carbon steel S235JR (or higher) according to European Standard UNI EN 10025-2
- External MRC-type dished-heads in high density polyethylene according to European Standard EN12201
- Grade SA 2½” steel shot blast media according to ISO 8501-1
- Welds:
- By submerged arc machine (S.A.W.) where possible, and/or semi-automatic (M.I.G./M.A.G.) in other locations
- Polyethylene thermoplastic

Surface Protection

- Surfaces and internal welds in natural condition, cleaned and properly dried

- Interstitial chamber (0,1 bar)
- Vacuum test:
- Interstitial chamber (-0,35 bar)
- Dimensional inspection
- Control of paint thickness
- Examination and visual testing of welds
