Manufacturing Standards

  • Tanks manufactured according to the European Standard CODAP / ASME by the directive PED 2014/68/EU;
  • Dished bottoms type Korbbogen in carbon steel of grade S235JR according to the European Standard EN10025 (or equivalent);
  • Steel grit to grade SA 2 ½” according to ISO 8501-1;

 

Materials and Procedures

  • Body and Bottoms in carbon steel or stainless steel;
  • Dished bottoms type Korbbogen in carbon steel or stainless steel;
  • Interior membrane/bladder to be applied in butyl or other material (to be defined);
  • Submerged Arc Welding (S.A.W.) where possible, and/or semi-automatic (M.I.G./M.A.G.) In the remaining locations.

 

Standard Equipment

  • Touch-up paint KIT;
  • Membrande/Bladder mounting bracket and conduit connection with dimension to be defined;
  • Lifting lugs.

 

Surface Protection

_Without maintenance entry:

  • Tank subjected to the following surface treatment scheme:

Internally:

  • Hot-dip plated.

Externally:

  • Hot-dip Galvanized
  • Application of primer with a minimum of 50 μm;
  • Application of 2-component polyurethane finish, with a minimum of 50 µm. in green or other colors (to be defined).

_With maintenance entry:

  • Tank subjected to the following surface treatment scheme:

Internally:

  • Steel grit blasting to grade SA 2 ½ ”;
  • Application of paint suitable for the fluid to be contained (non-potable water / food quality).

Externally:

  • Pickling with steel grit to the degree SA 2 ½ “;
  • Application of zinc-rich epoxy primer;
  • Intermediate application;
  • Application of 2-component polyurethane paint film with a minimum of 50 μm. (in green if not otherwise specified by customer)

 

Inspection and Testing

  • Leak test by hydraulic test according to the code;
  • RX exam according to the required;
  • Dimensional control;
  • Ink thickness control;
  • Visual test of the welds.

 

Working pressure

  • 10 bar or 16 bar or others (on request).

 

Optional

  • If the membrane/bladder to be applied is for contact with drinking water, it will comply with WRAS certification;
  • Interior painting (when possible);
  • Plating (when possible);
  • Logo application.
  • Access ladder, platform, and balcony can be provided.
