Citergaz, Caldeiraria e Manutenção, S.A., was founded 35 years ago, originating from the company A. Silva Matos – Indústria Metalúrgica Lda., headquartered in Sever do Vouga, Portugal.
It was established with a very clear purpose 35 years ago: to become a global benchmark in engineering development, technical design, project development, full-scale manufacturing, and certification of technical solutions for the oil industry, pressurised reservoirs for various purposes, as well as solutions for water treatment, energy, and mobility.
In 2023, WAM Investments acquired Citergaz’s capital, initiating a strategic restructuring of the company, aimed at markets and products with higher added value, while retaining internal know-how within the organisation.
